The EU might “respond swiftly and decisively” in response to what it calls “unwarranted” travel bans issued by the US against five European individuals involved in combating online hate and disinformation, an EU official stated.

European Leaders Decry US Move as ‘Intimidation’

European leaders such as Emmanuel Macron charged the US administration of “coercion and intimidation”, following the visa restrictions were placed on individuals that were at the heart of campaigns to introduce legislation governing US-based technology firms.
