Your Perfect Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form Based on the Zodiac Sign

The return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense enthusiasm within the fandom. From the gradual reveal of newcomers ahead of the game's launch, to trainers developing strong views on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.

Given numerous of the Mega Evolutions showcasing unique designs that highlight their personalities, one idea naturally: How can connect this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a blend of intuition, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was almost chosen for Aries, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. However, a Super Houndoom comes across as always angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, known for being playful, cheerful, and impulsive. This makes Aries much more akin to Mega Camerupt, which only erupts when provoked. Remain on the good side of either and benefit from a powerful partner; if you cross them, prepare to face the consequences.

The Bull – Mega Heracross

Similar to a loyal Taurus, the reliable Heracross species, both in its standard and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, both the creature and a Bull are also battle-oriented, and – be it their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position to the end. What about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed love of snacks. Several previous official descriptions mention their craving for sweet sap and how it employs its appendage to collect it everything, which is true Taurus energy.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Look at this absolute queen. It's impossible to convince me this creature is not the soul of any gathering, providing an constant fountain of gossip to anyone who wants to hear. Much like an captivating, sociable Gemini, it's very easy to imagine Mega Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their tales. This Pokémon's official description also mentions its capacity to foresee an enemy’s future actions, which seems very like a socially-savvy Twins.

The Crab – Super Manectric

Cancer is commonly regarded as the most emotional sign of the zodiac, a passionate symbol famous for frequently getting wrapped up in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution fills the creature with a “tremendous amount of energy, but it's too much for Manectric to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a classic Cancer emotional outburst. It is also known for its capability to make a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s one thing a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Well, did you think I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the stars? Aside from the fact that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the star whose gams just went viral for being too fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Players couldn’t look away from the violet sea star, and that’s exactly the identical vibe a Leo offers to the scene. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting signals from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Lion to be putting on a performance, albeit for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly judgmental is strongly mirrored across this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a perpetually shocked expression like a Virgo when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s similar to the symbol a Maiden posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Look at this sweet, empathetic being, who uses the feelers on its ears to detect how others are emotionally by their pulse. Consistently compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and trying to maintain the peace, there are many Libras who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just cause them to stress more about others.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Abandoned as a doll, it gained sentient through sheer hatred and swore revenge on its previous caretaker. According to the official info, Mega Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like many conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio adores karma and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly staging a show. As a Sagittarius myself, the amount of times I’ve called myself some version of a “playful little entertainer” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Super Form, its description even notes how it “flexes to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer counterpart I can think of.

The Goat – Super Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to predict calamities ahead of time? That exudes the identical vibe as a Goat, who often consistently think they’re correct. The thing is, much like a prophetic Mega Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute first Super Form that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to get in on the ground floor of the Mega trend.

The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure

Aloof element Aquarius is arguably the non-fire placement that is closest to a flame symbol – its sister sign is Leo, and there are numerous memes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being unpredictable partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s dual Spirit/Flame typing matches perfectly with this, and the Mega’s general intimidating aura is also very Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
